Elvis Fan Feature: Olof Adams

My Aunt Olof Adams passed away last night, 69, and for 38 of those years, she was blind, deaf and had a brain tumor.  She introduced me to Elvis Presley and in 1987, she won a radio contest and took me to Graceland.

1987 Elvis’ Aunt Delta was still living at Graceland and terrorifying the staff, she did not make an appearance during our visit. Which, at the time was $5.25 for an adult ticket and because my Aunt was Blind, we were allowed to walk at a slower pace and I snuck her hands over the ropes so she could touch Elvis’ decor items.

the number of people impressed that the college aged me would take my middle aged blind aunt was depressing to be and I told them all, she won the contest and had brought me.

Request for Positive Thoughts for my Aunt Olof
