Bromance: Alan Fortas


Alan Fortas started working for Elvis before the army and rejoined Elvis in the 1960s.

His responsibility was transportation, The Circle G and he was on the 1968 special in the unplugged session, Elvis in leather, Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana then Charlie Hodge and Alan Fortas

Like Lamar Fike, Fortas was overweight and often more the court jester and joke butt.

Before his death, he wrote an Elvis memoir with Alanna Nash in 1992.
